Strawberry Surprise
Equipment
- 9 x 13-inch pan
Ingredients
Crust
- 3/4 cup melted margarine
- 2 cups crushed pretzels not fine
- 2 Tbsp sugar
Filling
- 2 small boxes strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 10 oz packages frozen strawberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 12 oz Cool Whip or Dream Whip
Instructions
Crust
- Mix together and put into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 8 minutes at 350°F. Let cool.
Filling
- Dissolve the Jell-O in the water. Add the strawberries. Refrigerate 10 minutes.
- Combine the cream cheese with the sugar. Fold in the Cool Whip.
- Spread on the pretzel base.
- Top with the Jell-O mixture.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Cut and serve with Cool Whip on top and a strawberry on top of each piece.
