Dirt Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large package instant Jell-O chocolate pudding
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 1 - 1 1/2 packages Oreo cookies crushed
  • silk flowers
  • gummy worms cut in half

Instructions
 

  • Mix the pudding as directed on the package. Refrigerate.
  • Cream the cream cheese. When the pudding has set, mix with the cream cheese.
  • Fold in the Cool Whip so the mixture is entirely brown. Refrigerate while crushing the Oreo cookies.
  • In the glasses, alternate layers of pudding with layers of crushed cookies, ending with crushed cookies on top.
  • Insert a silk flower in the pot. Cut gummy worms in half, placing half on each side of the pot so it appears a worm is in the "dirt."

Notes

Makes approximately 24 9 oz cups.
Use cheaper chocolate sandwich cookies; they aren't as rich.
When making a half recipe, use chocolate fudge pudding. It makes darker dirt.
