Blackberry Cake
Equipment
- 9 x 13-inch pan
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box (3 oz) blackberry Jell-O
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/12 cup blackberry juice
- 4 eggs
Glaze
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1/2 cup drained blackberries
- 1/2 box confectioners sugar
Instructions
- Put all cake ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix.
- Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350°F.
- For the glaze, bring the butter, blackberries and confectioners sugar to a boil and pour over the warm cake.
Notes
This is better when it is made the night before.
