Dirt Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 large package instant Jell-O chocolate pudding
- 2 8 oz packages cream cheese
- 1 large container Cool Whip
- 1 – 1 1/2 packages Oreo cookies crushed
- silk flowers
- gummy worms cut in half
Instructions
- Mix the pudding as directed on the package. Refrigerate.
- Cream the cream cheese. When the pudding has set, mix with the cream cheese.
- Fold in the Cool Whip so the mixture is entirely brown. Refrigerate while crushing the Oreo cookies.
- In the glasses, alternate layers of pudding with layers of crushed cookies, ending with crushed cookies on top.
- Insert a silk flower in the pot. Cut gummy worms in half, placing half on each side of the pot so it appears a worm is in the “dirt.”
Notes
Makes approximately 24 9 oz cups.
Use cheaper chocolate sandwich cookies; they aren’t as rich.
When making a half recipe, use chocolate fudge pudding. It makes darker dirt.
