Pineapple Delight or “Better Than Sex Cake”
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix use 3 eggs and follow box directions
- 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice
- 3/4 – 1 cup sugar use less if pineapple is sweetened
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding made as directed
- Cool Whip
- nuts or coconut
Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix using 3 eggs, following the box directions, and bake.
- While baking, simmer the pineapple and sugar until thickened.
- When the cake is baked, remove and let set about 15 minutes.
- Poke holes with a wooden spoon handle and pour the pineapple mixture over, spreading it on top and in the holes. Let cool.
- Make the pudding as directed. Spread over the cooled cake and let set.
- Spread with Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
