Orange Pineapple Sunshine Cake

- 3 9-inch cake pans
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 11 ounce can mandarin oranges undrained
Pineapple Cheese Cake Frosting
- 1 16 oz can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 10 1/2 oz package cheese cake filling mix
- 1 8 oz container sour cream
- 1 9 oz container Cool Whip
Instructions
Cake
- Combine the cake mix, oil, eggs and oranges. Mix 2 minutes.
- Put the mixture in 3 9-inch cake pans.
- Bake 15 minutes at 325°F. Cool.
- Frost with Pineapple Cheese Cake Frosting.
Frosting
- Combine the pineapple, sugar and cheese cake filling mix.
- Add the sour cream and whip by hand until it thickens.
- Fold in the Cool Whip.
Notes
Plenty of frosting to be generous between three layers and cover the complete cake.
